The Artist
Fadi Herbawi is a Palestinian contemporary visual artist whose practice moves between Arabic calligraphy, Palestinian embroidery and material experimentation.
His work explores how inherited visual languages can take on new forms through scale, layering, abstraction, light and space. The Arabic letter becomes structure, rhythm and memory rather than text alone.
Based in Istanbul, Herbawi continues to develop sculptural works that connect personal history with a contemporary visual language.
